Cost Reduction Project – Stationery & Washroom Expenditure

C.Brewer & Sons founded in 1904 are the UK’s largest independent supplier of decorating materials to the construction industry.

Procurement Services Group were asked to conduct a review of all stationery and washroom expenditure and this project was to be managed on a no-saving, no-fee basis.

As part of the criteria and service provision PSG:

• Established and analysed current product and expenditure profile.
• Mutually agreed a tender list of prospective suppliers.
• Formulated tender documents and carried out all negotiations on behalf of  Brewers.

The conclusion of this process was that we were able to demonstrate an annual saving of £29,830.00. These savings were achieved through a mixture of price reductions and product rationalization.

We are now conducting a further no-saving, no-fee project for the provision of standard printed marketing material.
